From January 01, 2013, the Kerala nursing council registration validity is confirmed for FIVE years. You must renew the registration within five years; else the council will cancel your registration.
NOC or No Objection Certificate is a recognized certificate issued by a college, organization, or establishment to express that the concerned department has no complaint in giving an extra degree or qualification, to a candidate who has gained an extra qualification from another institute, college or organization.
Nurses who had finished their extra qualification from a second state need to get a No objection certificate from their own state. This certificate qualifies them to register in the second state.
Furthermore, nurses who have completed their degree or qualification from another state must get a No objection certificate from their state of origin. This is necessary because nurses need to complete their registration in the second state.
For instance, if you have finished your Post B.Sc Nursing from Karnataka and GNM from Kerala, you need to request for a Kerala Nursing Council NOC online.
