From January 2017 till September 2020, www.knmc.org has issued three major updates regarding the KNMC registration renewal. Which include KNMC life membership, KNMC registration renewal and certificate renewal.

On the 12th of January 2017, KNMC issued its first certificate renewal notification. Certainly, it is for anyone who has studied ANM, GNM or BSc Nursing courses and had their KNMC registration between January 1990 and December 2012.

Usually, the registration council they will send a hard copy of the Good Standing Certificate to the authority who demanded it. At the same time, KNMC will send an attached copy of the certificate to your email. Besides, you can download and attach it from the site if applied online.

Kerala Nursing Council registration renewal has the same steps and process for applying for the KNMC registration. The difference is that for KNMC renewal, you should enter your initial KNMC registration number and date of registration. Furthermore, to complete the online KNMC renewal process, fill up the form with your current and relevant personal and educational information and submit it with a valid mobile number and email address. If you are not working in India and wish to renew your Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council registration, you must keep your address in Kerala. In other words, KNMC will not send the certificate abroad.

1. Fill out the Kerala Nursing Council Registration Application form Online

3. Review Your KNMC Renewal Application

4. Payment options for KNMC Renewal
You can make payments for KNMC registration via internet banking, Demand draft, Credit card payment or Challan to Kerala Nursing Council. For example, If you choose a net-banking service, follow the steps on their website. Once you have completed the payment, your payment status will appear on the KNMC website after being redirected to the website.
Moreover, demand draft payments should be made in favour of The Registrar, Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council, and should be payable at Thiruvananthapuram. If you want the challan option, make your payment at the nearest SBI branch with a copy of the challan form of your online application.
However, keep in mind that if you opt for the challan payment on the KNMC website, an update will appear after twenty-four hours, so do not make the payment on the same day your application is submitted.
5. Send Downloaded KNMC Form by Post
You can send all your relevant documents to the Kerala Nursing Council by post, along with the printed application form downloaded from the KNMC website. Furthermore, you have to attach the original challan slip along with your KNMC application if the payment is made through challan.
