Duties & Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their requirements and collaborate on project briefs.
• Create sample sites that demonstrate design concepts and effectively communicate client objectives.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing progress updates and addressing any concerns.
• Conduct research on user journey needs to optimize website design and functionality.
• Test site functionality and usability to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
• Demonstrate draft sites to clients, gather feedback, and make necessary revisions to achieve client satisfaction.
• Stay up to date with design trends, as well as technological, software, and accessibility developments in web design.

Requirements and Qualifications as Web Designer

• A strong portfolio showcasing your best web design projects and demonstrating your creative skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and discuss web design projects you have worked on.
• Proficiency in web design tools and technologies, including but not limited to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks.
• Excellent understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles.
• Solid knowledge of design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate client requirements into visually appealing and functional websites.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
