Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all public relations activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute effective marketing strategies and tactics to enhance brand visibility and reach target audiences.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with media representatives, influencers, and stakeholders to generate positive publicity and media coverage.
- Create compelling and engaging content for press releases, articles, blogs, and other communication materials.
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, proactively addressing any issues or concerns to maintain a positive brand image.
- Plan and organize events, press conferences, and promotional activities to create awareness and maximize media exposure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all communication channels.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging PR practices to drive innovation and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns and activities, providing regular reports and insights to management.
- Train and mentor junior PR team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Requirements and Qualifications as Public Relations Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in public relations, preferably in a managerial role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and effectively engage with stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in media relations, crisis management, and brand management.
- Familiarity with traditional and digital media platforms, including print, broadcast, social media, and online channels.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
- Experience in the HR or recruitment industry is a plus.
